امیررضا رستمی، جوان ۲۱ سالهای بود که در جریان اعتراضات «انقلاب شیر و خورشید» در تهران جان باخت. در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴، او در مناطق میدان فلاح و یافتآباد هدف شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفت. اصابت دو گلوله جنگی به قلب و پهلوی او منجر به جانباختنش شد. پس از کشته شدن او، نهادهای امنیتی فشار شدیدی بر خانواده رستمی وارد کردند و آنها را مجبور ساختند تا پیکر فرزندشان را در سکوت و بدون اجازه برگزاری مراسم سوگواری عمومی به خاک بسپارند. با وجود این محدودیتها، بعدها مراسم نمادین ازدواجی به یاد این جوان وطنپرست برگزار شد تا یاد و نام او گرامی داشته شود.
